Welcome to China! Upon arrival, receive a warm greeting from your local guide and driver. Transfer to the hotel and then release from the jet lag after long-time flight.

As the hometown of Giant Panda, Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding should not be missed when you come to Chengdu. Strolling through the bamboo groves, you will find lovely pandas eating bamboo, playing or sleeping. After a nice time in the park-like panda base, transfer to People's Park, visit the traditional old tea house. Kuanzhai Alley, the so-called Narrow and Wide Alley, shows what old Chengdu was like. Have a good rest and get prepared to Tibet.

Day 2

According to flight time, the tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and then transfer to the airport. Take the flight to Lhasa. You will be warmly welcome to Tibet by saying Tashi Delek. Be sent to the hotel and then have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude in the rest of the day.

Today you will visit the highlights of Lhasa including famous Potala Palace, the holiest temple in Tibet, Jorkhang Temple and Barkhor Street, “the window of Tibet” as it exhibits typical Tibetan life. It is popular that tourists join the locals to join the local people's circle and make a wish. In the evening, enjoy a Tibetan style welcome dinner with dancing and singing.

Today, you will visit two important monasteries in Lhasa, Drepung and Sera. Drepung Monastery, used to be the imperial palace of Dalai Lamas for short stays away from the capital before the reconstruction of Potala Palace. In the afternoon, transfer to visit Sera Monastery. You may come across Sera Monastery’s monks debating which is held in the courtyard at around 15:00-17:30.

Passing by the green farmland of Nyangchu Valley, you are moving westwards to the first stop today, Yamdrok-tso Lake. Yamdrok, in Tibetan means pure jade, is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. While in Gyantze. Visit the Kumbum Monastery, also named Pelkor Monastery, where the wall painting as well as the architecture inside make it distinctive. In the late afternoon, arrive at Shigatse, the second biggest city of Tibet. Check into hotel.

Day 6

Drive westwards to Tingri. It is about 3 hours' driving from Shigatse to Mt.Jiacuola Pass at 5248m. The colorful prayer flags with the blue sky as their background makes you feel peaceful mind indeed. Then transfer from Tingri to E.B.C. If it is in clear weather, you can have a glimpse of four mountains: Mt.Makalu (8463m), Mt.Lhotse (8516m), Mt.Qomolangma (8844m), Mt.Chooyu (8201m). Arrive at Rongbuk Monastery in the afternoon.

Day 7

Early in the morning get up to see the sunrise of Mt.Everest from Rongbuk Monastery, you can have a full view the magnificent Mt. Everest standing like a snow-capped pyramid in front of you. To go to the Mt.Everest Base Camp, there are two choices, one is trekking for about 4km from the tent to base camp and then come back with another 4 km, another is the mini bus from the tent to Mt.Everest Base Camp. After that, you will be transferred  back to Shigatse in about 9 hours.

Before driving back to Lhasa, you will visit the largest Monastery in west Tibet, the Tashilhunpo Monastery. Located on a hill, the name of the monastery means "heap of glory". Founded in 1447, it has established a high prestige among pilgrims. Many monks also yearn for this sacred place for the unique way of learning sutras. You will see the one and the only one "Buddha Exhibition Stage" where as a special sight here. After that drive along Yarluzangbu River to return Lhasa City.

Catch a morning flight from Lhasa to Shangri-la. On arrival, drive to Yila Grassland and circle Napa Lake, where the idyllic scenery forms a perfect quiet countryside view. Songzanlin Monastery, or Ganden Sungtseling, which is referred as the Little Potala Palace. In the rest of the day free on own to explore Dukezong Ancient Town, also named Moonlight Old Town.

In the morning, transfer to Lijiang. Along the way you will have a stop at the Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest and most spectacular river canyons in the world. Arrive in Lijiang at noon time. The buildings, after countless dynasty baptism, have survived and gathered each nation's culture and blossom. You will visit Black Dragon Pool Park and Mu's Residencehike on Lion Hill to have a whole view of the ancient city.

In the morning, take a short driving to visit Jade Dragon Sown Mountain. Its 13 snow peaks are constant that like a dancing dragon in the sky which makes an unforgettable view. Since Lijiang is in the subtropical zone, it is amazing that this mountain which is 5596 meters above the sea level, can stand proudly there. Later visit Baisha Wall Painting in Baisha Village, learning more about the history and culture of Naxi ethnic group. Enjoy a peaceful time in Shuhe Ancient Town.

Day 12

Get a relax morning in Lijiang Ancient City and then be sent to airport for flight to Chengdu. Receive a warm pick-up in Chengdu airport, and then transfer to the hotel.
